Contribution to the Italian Polkadot Community: Funding Request
Presentation:
Dear Polkadot Community
I am Il Marchese del Crypto, an Italian content creator who has been producing cryptocurrency-related content on YouTube for about 4 years. Over time, I have created numerous free content pieces purely out of passion and for studying the Polkadot ecosystem. I believe I have made a significant contribution, albeit small, to spreading knowledge about this fantastic world of Polkadot and its ecosystem.
Through my YouTube channel [link to your channel], I have crafted various content pieces for Polkadot, directing many individuals to the Italian Telegram group managed by Luca Poggi and many others to relevant groups based on their interests, such as Moonbeam, Acala, Manta Network, Astar, Parallel, and more.
Currently, I update my followers once or twice a week with Dot chart analysis and cryptocurrency sector news. Furthermore, I have provided detailed instructions on how to participate in crowdloans on Polkadot, explained the basics of Polkadot Js, and introduced the Talisman Wallet.
Through my public Telegram group, I have assisted several individuals by providing information on various aspects of using the Polkadot blockchain, such as staking Dot, participating in nomination pools, withdrawing auction rewards, and more.
Here are some of the contents I've created on Polkadot:
- Funny prediction of Dot's price in 2021
- Explanation of Polkastarter's launchpad operation
- Comparison between Kusama and Polkadot
- Using OKX to participate in Dot and Kusama auctions
- Differences between Polkadot and Cardano
- Videos and live streams dedicated to Dot auctions
- Tutorial on participating in crowdloans on Polkadot
- Further exploration of auctions and project investment
- Polkadot parachains FAQ
- Maximizing profits through Polkadot crowdloans
- Recap of initial auctions and winners
- Tutorial on the Talisman Wallet
- Provocative discussion on "Is Polkadot dead?" (probably Dot inspiring Dot id DED !?
- Live Q&A sessions on Dot auctions
- Live discussion with Luca Poggi, Italian Polkadot Admin, on "Is Polkadot resurrecting? Polkadot 2.0"
All this work has been done from 2020 to 2024, and I will continue to produce content, including updates on Polkadot news and its ecosystem.
With this request, I ask for compensation in Dot for my contribution to Polkadot's growth and to continue producing useful content. I believe that the time, effort, and study I have invested deserve recognition, but the decision is yours.
for prove the ownership of this account and Youtube, i insert this note in video description:
"Update 24/03/2024: I have just launched a funding request on Polkadot's Open Gov for the work done in the growth of the DOT ecosystem." under this live: https://youtube.com/live/pvYStfehwXQ
Thank you for considering my request.

@cornel u saw nay without comment! argument your choice and respect who Believe in Dot from beginning and works for it without never ask 1 cent , instead of give found at "your friends"
Hello, I really think that we should not publish paid content that talks about prices or promotes the use of CEX instead of the POLKADOT ecosystem, I think that if the content was more recent with educational topics I would be in favor, the most recent content if I am not mistaken About Polkadot is the interview with Luca Poggi, I really like this, since he is behind Iceberg Nodes :) but for the sake of being speculative videos, I will vote NAY. Besides the proponent dosen´t hace identity

"I really appreciate your point of view; at least you've justified your choice.
That said, I would like to clarify some aspects:
Mine is a request for the contribution made to the dot ecosystem over several years. These are just a few examples; I have often spoken about Polkadot on other channels of other YouTubers as well.
My YouTube channel is suitable for everyone, both experts and ordinary people who I believe also need speculative discussions beyond just 'educational content,' and also to use OKX or Binance to participate in crowdloans instead of various decentralized wallets that not everyone is capable of managing.
You mentioned two videos, such as the one about OKX or speculation, but you overlooked all the videos on how to participate in dot auctions using Polkadot Js, or platforms like Parallel, or even how the Talisman wallet works.
Regarding verification, I simply do not have a verified wallet, but as you could see, by entering that text below the YouTube video, I don't believe there are any issues related to potential 'fraud.'
I have seen funds being released to several YouTubers who have never talked about Polkadot, or who have even spoken ill of it and still got paid.
I have also seen several proposals being approved to reward (rightly, I believe) those who have contributed differently to Polkadot even if only since 2023, while I, who have been talking about Polkadot since 2021, have never received anything.
Fortunately, I don't need the funds, and furthermore, as far as I'm concerned, the request was very low, but I don't like that to obtain funds, one has to be 'friends with someone' or simply more 'clever.'
This doesn't seem like 'the Polkadot' I know, in which I have invested and believed in since its inception until today!"
