GM Polkadot friends - we need your support

WAGOI is on a mission to fix something that’s been broken for way too long—vehicle data ownership. Right now, car manufacturers collect and sell your data, making billions while you get nothing. But thanks to the EU Data Act, that’s about to change. And WAGOI is here to make sure the power goes back where it belongs—to the drivers.

And guess what? We’re building this on Polkadot. Period.

Other chains have offered grants to jump ship, but we believe in Polkadot’s vision of true decentralization and enterprise adoption. We just need the support of the community to get our MVP over the finish line. Timing is everything. We’ve outlined our first milestone & the budget in detail in the attached document :

I know… the document is 18 pages long. And yes, some parts—like the legislation—might feel a bit dry. But in our case, it’s crucial. Without regulations like the EU Data Act, our business case wouldn’t even exist…

Our goal is to submit this to the Treasury, but before we do, we’d love to hear your feedback. What’s still unclear? What can we improve to maximize our chances when we post this as a proposal? All input from the community is more than welcome.

We believe this is the perfect use case to show the world—and the EU regulators—that blockchain isn’t just for speculation. It’s for real-world solutions.
