Proposal: San Francisco Blockchain Week Polkadot Summit
Hello everyone. We are organizing the Polkadot Summit on November 3rd during one of the biggest Blockchain Weeks in the world to educate about the latest developments in Polkadot Network. We will have two tracks, a business and a technical track for a full-day event at the historic Fort Mason Center on the water in San Francisco from 9AM - 5PM. This is the timeline of the summit (WIP)
The motivation behind this initiative is that we think that Polkadot needs more exposures in the US. Having a Polkadot local event during a big conference is effective and needed.
We have confirmed speakers from the following top top teams in Dotsama including Parity, Astar, Acala, Parallel, Nodle, Zeitgeist, Oak, Phala, Polkahaus, and Manta and trying to invite more ecosystem projects.

I fully support this proposal. This event can serve the whole ecosystem well in regard to education and marketing. The event's location is key to the tech industry in the US and Polkadot's presence can be a powerful statement - not just for our user base, but for many other outside of it.
Polkadot Summit ensures that we have a stage to present our project ideas at the SanFrancisco Blockchain week, benefitting all of the teams and projects that participate. ETHGlobal will be holding a large in-person Hackathon at the same time (https://sf.ethglobal.com/). This means participants of The Polkadot Summit will also be able to connect face-to-face with new developers and teams from abroad. Many Polkadot teams are on-board and the use of funds is appropriately detailed. I support this proposal. Jerad
Thank you. Small point of clarification EthGlobal Hackathon happens Nov 4th - 6th so immediately afterwards, so even better for attendance of Polkadot Summit on Nov 3rd.
